Sales Manager (fixed-term parental leave substitute)

The Black Fox Company Oy is looking for a Sales Manager for a fixed-term position to lead domestic and international B2B sales for our sustainable brands, VAI-KO and Woolly Wolf.

VAI-KO is an outdoor-inspired apparel and accessory brand best known for its merino wool beanies and responsible production. Woolly Wolf develops pet products made from recycled materials for an adventurous lifestyle. In this role, you'll become part of a growing, value-driven company where sustainability, closeness to nature, and a collaborative culture, not to mention the occasional office dog belly rub

Your responsibilities will span the entire sales cycle, from managing key accounts and acquiring new clients to long-term relationship development. You’re an effective negotiator, capable of closing deals and using data to drive sales improvements. You are solution-oriented, analytical, fluent in English, and experienced in both account management and strategic sales. You work confidently with CRM systems and other essential business software.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the growth and development of two rapidly expanding brands and contribute to a company where sustainability is not just a word, but a way of doing business.

As Sales Manager for Woolly Wolf and VAI-KO, your responsibilities include:

  • Managing key accounts
  • Acquiring new customers and developing existing ones
  • Handling quotation and contract processes
  • Developing the sales process
  • Collaborating with the sales team, marketing, logistics, and product development to ensure consistent brand representation

To succeed in this role, we hope you bring:

  • Experience in both domestic and international B2B sales and account management
  • Understanding of customer segmentation and relevant industry knowledge (e.g. retail, B2B)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluent use of CRM systems and other core business software
  • A strategic and solution-driven approach
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Relevant business education (e.g. BBA or vocational degree in business)

This is a fixed-term role from June 9, 2025 to August 31, 2026, with a flexible start date. Our office is located in Oulunkylä, Helsinki, with excellent public transport connections.
